SANTA ARRIVED IN PANA
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2009

Santa Claus made his grand entrance and visited Pana on Saturday,
November 28, 2009, via the Pana Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade.
Santa was assisted by the Pana Lions Club. After the parade, Santa greeted kids of
all ages at the Historic Roseland Theater where they were treated to a free movie.
This year’s film was “A Christmas Carol” and was presented by Bob Ridings Motors,
Downs Motor, and Hubbartt Motors.  
 
The theme of this year’s parade was “A Christmas Carol.”
Prizes were awarded to the best entries as follows:
First Place - Pana FFA, who won a $50.00 Gift Certificate
Second Place - Miss and Little Miss Christian County, won a $30.00 Gift Certificate
Third Place - First National Bank of Pana, who won $20.00 Gift Certificate.
